What a Good Small Business Website Should Actually Do

A business website should do more than look clean. It should explain, build trust, and create a clear path to contact.

A strong website should make your business easier to understand, easier to trust, and easier to contact.

For most small businesses, a site should do three things well:

  1. Explain the offer clearly
  2. Build confidence quickly
  3. Turn interest into action

If it looks nice but does not move people toward contact, it is underperforming.

If your website is underperforming, it may not be a traffic problem. It may be a clarity problem.
